Bora Carbon Black recently participated in the German Concrete Society (DKT 2024) exhibition held in Nuremberg, Germany from July 1 to 4, 2024.
At this exhibition, Bora Carbon Black highlighted its carbon black solutions specially built for the Mechanical Rubber Products (MRG) industry. John Davidson, the company's chief sales and marketing officer, said they look forward to providing these optimizations to help customers achieve excellent surface finish and durability in a variety of applications. He specifically mentioned two specialty carbon blacks, Raven™ and Conductex™, which meet the unique needs of different markets for basic characteristics such as color, conductivity, viscosity and UV protection.
According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, Bora Carbon Black has also launched a sustainable carbonaceous material (SCM) called Continua™, which is regarded as a sustainable alternative to traditional furnace carbon black. At the exhibition site, visitors had the opportunity to learn about how this new material significantly reduces its carbon footprint, as well as the reliability of its large-scale supply and seamless integration of technical support into customer production lines.
In addition, Bora Carbon Black also demonstrated its cutting-edge Nanocyl brand of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), including the NC7000 ™ solution for polymers to achieve excellent electrical conductivity, and the thermoplastic MWCNT PLASTIYL ™ with high electrical conductivity.
It is worth noting that Bora Carbon Black has recently obtained ISCC Plus certification in factories in many countries, which further reflects the company's firm commitment to sustainable development and responsible operations. At the same time, the company also became the first multinational carbon black company to obtain IATF certification for all manufacturing plants and received a "Gold" rating from EcoVadis for its commitment to sustainable business practices. These honors and certifications undoubtedly prove Bora Carbon Black's leading position in the industry and its emphasis on sustainable development.
