China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement comes into effect, and a company in Hebei faces zero tariffs on carbon black exports

On July 5, it was reported that the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Serbia signed by China and Serbia has completed their respective domestic approval procedures and will officially come into effect on July 1. After the agreement came into effect, Xingtai Customs, a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Customs, responded quickly and issued Hebei Province's first certificate of origin of the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement to Longxing Chemical Co., Ltd.

Liu Sha, head of foreign trade at Longxing Chemical, said that Serbia is one of the company's main export markets in Europe, and the entry into force of the free trade agreement has brought substantial tariff preferences to the company. With this certificate of origin, the company's 550,000 yuan carbon black products exported this time will enjoy the tariff rate reduced to zero after arriving in Serbia, and it is expected to save about 5000 yuan in tariff costs. The timely enjoyment of this policy dividend has undoubtedly provided strong support for the company to further consolidate and expand its market share in Serbia.
