The conductive materials and single-walled carbon nanotube project of Zigong Dongheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is accelerating, and the scene is busy. At present, all production equipment and equipment for the first phase of the project have been fully installed and debugged, and four conductive carbon black production lines have been completed. The staff are intensively preparing for the upcoming trial production stage.
According to the person in charge of the project, since breaking ground in April last year, the project has progressed rapidly, and the first phase of the project is about to enter a critical stage of trial production. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to form an annual production capacity of 48,000 tons of conductive materials. The products are widely used in many fields such as power batteries, digital batteries and energy storage batteries. They are expected to create an annual output value of 3 billion yuan and provide nearly 500 jobs. The successful implementation of this project means that Zigong will become the largest production base of conductive carbon black materials in China.
According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, the total investment of the project is as high as 1.6 billion yuan, and it is planned to be constructed in two phases. The second phase of the project will focus on the comprehensive utilization project with an annual output of 300 tons of single-walled carbon nanotubes and supporting tail gas. It is planned to build 30 single-walled carbon nanotube plasma synthesis production lines and 2 tail gas reuse devices, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
After the two phases of the project fully reach production capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 4.8 billion yuan, contribute 320 million yuan in tax revenue, and create 780 jobs, injecting strong impetus into local economic development.
