Tianjin Petrochemical has recently made significant breakthroughs in the field of slurry utilization technology and successfully trial-produced carbon black feedstock oil, marking a new step in the diversified application of catalytic slurry. During this trial production process, Tianjin Petrochemical made fine adjustments to the production process to ensure that the quality of carbon black raw oil met industry standards. During this period, the slurry removal facilities of No. 2 delayed coking unit were continuously optimized, and the tank farm reconciliation plan was further improved. According to statistics, as of the end of May, the company has successfully shipped 1206 tons of carbon black raw oil to customers.
The catalytic oil slurry produced during the refining process was originally mainly used to blend bunker fuel oils. However, Tianjin Petrochemical actively seeks technological innovation and adopts the catalytic oil slurry inorganic membrane solid removal and purification technology jointly developed by Dalian Petrochemical Research Institute and Jiangsu Ceramico New Materials Co., Ltd. The application of this technology has successfully converted low-value catalytic oil slurry into high value-added carbon black feedstock oil, opening up new profit growth points for the company.
