On May 31, Cabot recently launched two new universal black masterbatch products, both of which use sustainable materials certified by ISCC PLUS. Cabot's new products, REPLASBLAK® reUN5285 and REPLASBLAK® reUN5290 Universal Black Masterbatches, are the first products in the industry made from materials that have passed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS). As the world transitions to a low-carbon economy, the market continues to grow for solutions that can support the circular economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These two newly launched masterbatches are Cabot's positive response to this market demand.
According to Carbon Black Industry Network, these two new products are launched by Cabot's EVOLVE® Sustainable Solutions Technology Platform, aiming to provide sustainable certification solutions with excellent performance, high quality and high reliability for the plastics industry. Among them, REPLASBLAK® reUN5285 uses 45% physically recycled polymer materials, making it particularly suitable for blending modification applications in the automotive industry; while REPLASBLAK® reUN5285 uses 45% physically recycled polymer materials, it is particularly suitable for blending and modification applications in the automotive industry; while REPLASBLAK® reUN 5285 uses 45% physically recycled polymer materials, it is particularly suitable for blending and modification applications in the automotive industry; while REPLASBLAK® reUN 5285 uses 45% physically recycled polymer materials, it is particularly suitable for blending and modification applications in the automotive industry; reUN5290 uses 20% physically recycled polymer materials and is suitable for applications such as blending modification and injection molding and sheet extrusion in the automotive industry.
