On May 27, it was reported that global tire technology ushered in new breakthroughs. Goodyear and vehicle system leader ZF (ZF) jointly announced that they had successfully integrated tire intelligent technology with vehicle motion control software. This innovative technology will bring revolutionary changes to the automotive industry and improve driving safety and comfort.

It is reported that the core of this technical cooperation is to seamlessly integrate Goodyear's SightLine tire intelligent system into ZF's cubiX® vehicle motion control software platform. The platform is praised for its scalability and coordination capabilities, and now partnered with Goodyear to further enhance the vehicle's capabilities in dynamic control.

According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, this technology integration has injected more real-time data on tires and roads into the chassis system, which not only optimizes the driving experience, but also takes an important step in safety. Through in-depth research and practical testing, engineers from both parties found that this integrated solution has significant effects in improving vehicle response speed, stability and control accuracy.

Martin Fischer, a member of the management board of ZF's Chassis Solutions division, said that the introduction of Goodyear SightLine will further deepen the connection between vehicles and the road and usher in a new era of software-defined vehicles. He emphasized that this cooperation not only expands the application scope of cubiX®, but also provides customers with more possibilities to customize and optimize intelligent vehicle sports and tire solutions.

Chris Helsel, senior vice president and chief technology officer of global operations at Goodyear, also shared the far-reaching significance of this cooperation. He pointed out that as the only component of a car that directly contacts the road surface, the digitalization and intelligence of tires are crucial to improving the overall performance and safety of the vehicle. Through its cooperation with ZF, Goodyear looks forward to bringing more innovation and value to future mobile travel.
