For example, when iron oxide content is more than 0.003%, it can develop color, while when iron oxide content is more than 0.009%, it needs to develop color in anatase titanium dioxide. Therefore, choosing pure titanium dioxide is crucial. Secondly, the shape, size and distribution of titanium dioxide particles have an impact on whiteness. The ideal iron oxide particles should be smooth and without corners, which will reduce light reflection and reduce whiteness. The particle size is in the range of 0.2 to 0.4μm (approximately equal to 1/2 of the wavelength of visible light), high scattering power can be obtained and whiteness can be increased.
