On March 26, 2024, Tdd-global's cloud factory Sichuan Shengfeng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Shengfeng Titanium Industry") and Information Industry Electronics 11th Design and Research Institute Science and Technology Engineering Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Eleven Technology") signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and the two parties will cooperate in the fields of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage. Against the background of the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy, the cooperation between the two parties is of epoch-making significance. The arrival of eleven technologies will drive the development of the photovoltaic industry in the entire southern and western Sichuan regions and improve the level of regional manufacturing. Shengfeng Titanium Industry and Eleven Technology will cooperate to build photovoltaic equipment and supporting energy storage devices with an annual output of 20 MW at the Hongya factory. Construction of the project will begin in April 2024 and be completed in September. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will greatly reduce the production cost of sponge titanium in Shengfeng Titanium Industry, enhance product competitiveness, help the expansion of the enterprise's industrial chain, and set a positive example for the realization of the regional carbon peak and carbon neutrality goal.
In recent years, titanium alloys have become a new choice for consumer electronics customers due to their high hardness and strong antibacterial properties, especially the 2023 iPhone
After the 15 series mobile phones were made of titanium alloy for the first time, Huawei, Glory, Xiaomi, Samsung and other manufacturers have used titanium alloy as high-end models. However, due to the difficulty in processing titanium alloys, it will drive a new round of procurement demand for post-processing equipment. The penetration rate of 3D printing in the field of titanium alloys will continue to increase. 3D printing technology is expected to achieve large-scale expansion in the consumer electronics field, which will bring increased demand to equipment and service companies that currently focus on demand in the military industry. Shengfeng Titanium will use new photovoltaic energy and rely on the downstream 3C market to enter the fields of titanium wire, titanium powder, 3D printing and other fields.
