The new factory project of Tianjin Libang Coatings Co., Ltd. in Binhai New District has completed all main structure construction. 40 workers and 20 management personnel on site are carrying out electromechanical installation and decoration construction. It is planned to be fully completed by the end of June 2024. Covering an area of more than 190,000 square meters, the project is Nippon Group's largest automotive paint production base in China. Upon completion, it will help Tianjin City build a world-class Nangang Chemical New Materials Base and Petrochemical Industry Cluster.
As a key project in Tianjin City, the project has a total investment of approximately 960 million yuan and covers an area of approximately 193,000 square meters. It will build two high-end industrial coatings and coating resin projects, including 6 warehouses, 4 production workshops, and 35 units such as control rooms and office building construction. After the project is completed, the annual output of water-based industrial coatings is 73,000 tons, including 15,000 tons of water-based automotive coatings, 58,000 tons of electrophoretic coatings, 20,000 tons of oily industrial coatings, and supporting 40,000 tons of resin production capacity.
At present, Nippon has 8 automotive coating factories in Langfang, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin, Wuhan, Nanjing, Guangzhou and other places in China, with a total of 10 factories including resin.
