Qingdao Black Cat New Materials Research Institute and two universities jointly research new technologies

Recently, a technical exchange meeting led by Zhang Liqun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of South China University of Technology, was grandly held in Qingdao Black Cat New Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. This exchange meeting brought together the top R & D forces of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and South China University of Technology to discuss cutting-edge technologies in the field of new energy and recycling dual carbon emission reduction with Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black Co., Ltd.(referred to as Black Cat).

At the exchange meeting, the three-party R & D teams conducted eight cooperation projects including new lithium-sodium battery conductive agents and anode materials, carbon black prepared from biomass, high-value research and development and application of carbon black recycled from waste tires, and high-performance carbon black. In-depth work reports and discussions were conducted. Academician Zhang Liqun made detailed comments on each project and put forward the research and development direction and work suggestions for the next step.

According to Carbon Black Industry Network, Black Cat has a history of cooperation with Beijing University of Chemical Technology and South China University of Technology for many years, and has jointly formed an efficient and collaborative R & D team. At present, these cooperation projects are steadily advancing in accordance with the predetermined goals and have achieved a series of important results. Academician Zhang Liqun said that in the future, the two sides will further deepen cooperation, accelerate the research and development process, and help Black Cat Co., Ltd. become a "world-class leading professional chemical manufacturing enterprise."

Wei Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Black Cat Co., Ltd., spoke highly of the phased results of the project and emphasized that this was the result of the joint efforts of the three R & D teams. He hopes to accelerate the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements through continuous in-depth integration of industry, academia and research, promote the high-quality development of Black Cat shares, and lay a solid foundation for achieving the grand goal of "creating a world-class specialized, specialized and new demonstration enterprise."
