New progress! Black Cat and Taikaiying joined forces with top universities to jointly develop new mining tire technologies

Recently, Taikaiying Company welcomed an important academic and industrial exchange. At the meeting, Wang Chuanzhu, Chairman of Taikaiying, Jason, Chief Engineer of the R & D Center, Wang Hong, General Manager from Black Cat New Materials Research Institute, and Professor Yong Zhanfu from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, jointly discussed the latest research and development progress in the field of special rubber mixing technology for mine tires.

This exchange is the second phased research results sharing meeting held since the three parties jointly signed the strategic cooperation agreement in May 2023. Professor Yong Zhanfu gave a detailed introduction to the current research and development results and looked forward to the future application prospects of this technology in the market. Wang Chuanzhu expressed his gratitude to the Black Cat New Materials Research Institute team for their outstanding contribution and emphasized that Taikai will continue to work with partners to promote the research and development and market application of tire technology.

It is understood that in the process of long-term research on the tire demand in the mining and construction industry, Taikaiying has clarified the development direction of raw materials and rubber refining technology. To this end, Tai Kaiying, Black Cat New Materials Research Institute and Qingdao University of Science and Technology jointly launched this innovative project. After the project was launched, Black Cat New Materials Research Institute developed a new type of special carbon black for mine tires based on specific needs, providing a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the project.

Wang Chuanzhu said at the meeting: "This special rubber mixing process for mine tires will bring revolutionary improvements to tire performance. We will orderly promote the application of this technology in many fields such as mine construction tires." He also pointed out that TechK is exploring the application of this technology to more scenarios, such as ports, oil fields and deserts, to meet a wider range of industry needs and provide higher-performance tire products.
