Recently, Oilon, the world's leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced that its factory in Cologne, Germany, has successfully obtained the ISCC PLUS certification issued by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Association (ISCC). This marks that the company has the most factories with this certification in the global carbon black production industry.

A new milestone in the sustainable development of Oillion's carbon black industry

Oilon has long been committed to providing customers with recycling solutions and is a leader in sustainable product innovation. Mr. Pei Kangning, CEO of the company, said that ISCC PLUS certification not only proves the sustainability of raw materials in its value chain, but also reflects Ou Lilong's persistence and pursuit of sustainable development.

Breakthrough in dual certification at the Cologne factory

It is understood that the Cologne factory not only passed the strict ISCC PLUS sustainability audit, but also obtained dual certification for production cycle and biological cycle raw materials. This achievement is particularly important for the company's multiple specialty product applications in the batteries, coatings, printing and polymers fields.

Ou Lilong's global layout and continuous certification

Last year, Oerilon obtained ISCC PLUS certification at three factories in two major regions around the world: the Borg factory in Texas, USA, the Belpre factory in Ohio, and the Jaslo factory in Poland. This year, these three factories were certified again, demonstrating Oilon's continued leadership in the global carbon black production field.

Focus on innovation and sustainable production of carbon black

Mr. Pei Kangning further pointed out that the certification of the Cologne factory is an important milestone in Oillion's sustainable development strategy. Ten years ago, Oilon became the first manufacturer to produce carbon black using renewable raw materials, including industrial-grade vegetable oils and agricultural and forestry biological waste.

Oillion's cooperation with the EU BlackCycle project

Oillion is also the only carbon black producer in the EU-funded BlackCycle project. The project, led by Michelin, focuses on developing technologies to produce and recover recycled carbon black from waste tires, demonstrating Oillion's leadership in the field of sustainable technological innovation.

The ISCC PLUS certification of these four plants not only demonstrates Oillion's commitment to sustainable carbon black production, but also strengthens its leading position in the global chemical industry.
