Cabot successfully held Supplier Sustainability Innovation Day

Cabot recently held a landmark event-Supplier Sustainability Innovation Day, focusing on business sustainability and innovative practices. The event brought together nearly 40 suppliers from manufacturing, transportation, digital management and other industries to discuss how to achieve business growth through innovation in the current complex economic environment.

Cabot's senior leaders in China, as well as procurement department team and supplier representatives participated in this event. During the event, Wang Weicheng, Vice President and Managing Director of Cabot Company in China, emphasized the company's core values and corporate purpose, aiming to establish partnerships based on common values to cope with fierce market competition and sustainable development challenges.

It is understood that John Everette, Cabot's vice president of global procurement, emphasized the importance of vendor-driven innovation. During the meeting, Cabot's global sustainability director Jaimee Farrin and Asia-Pacific director of safety, health and environmental affairs Song Pengfei shared the company's latest progress in sustainable development. Jaimee Farrin pointed out that Cabot integrates safety, health, environment and sustainability into every aspect of its business and works with suppliers to improve the sustainability of the entire supply chain.

Supplier representatives also shared their sustainable practices and digital solutions in areas such as environmentally friendly equipment manufacturing, material anti-aging, and low-carbon smart logistics.
