In order to break the monopoly and blockade of European and American countries on the boiling chlorination process and solve the problem of boiling chlorination technology stuck, Longbai Group has built China's first large-scale boiling chlorination furnace after more than 10 years of research. In view of the lack of high-quality titanium raw materials and core processes and equipment for the boiling chlorination process, lack of high-end special titanium dioxide coating control technology, and difficulty in treating chlorination waste. A complete set of technologies for the manufacturing and resource utilization of boiling chlorination titanium dioxide was formed and successfully industrialized, realizing the innovation of the entire industry chain of chlorinated titanium dioxide from "raw materials-equipment-process-product-resource comprehensive utilization". The successful implementation of this project not only effectively broke the blockade of foreign chlorination process technology, but also reduced China's dependence on foreign countries from 90% to 47.3%. The import of high-end chlorinated titanium dioxide exceeded 300,000 tons per year. It also changed the pattern of China's titanium dioxide industry dominated by sulfuric acid, increasing the proportion of China's chlorinated titanium dioxide from less than 2% to 12.7%. It has achieved independent control of China's high-end titanium raw materials and clean production and green manufacturing of titanium dioxide, effectively promoted the optimization and upgrading of the titanium industry structure, provided a good example for wastewater treatment and utilization in the inorganic chemical industry, and also laid the foundation for Panxi Vanadium-titanium The foundation for the high-value utilization of magnetite provides security for the high-quality development of national strategic titanium resources and provides strong support for a strong titanium industry.
