Hexing Chemical's acetylene black plant with an annual output of 30,000 tons is about to be debugged

On October 8, it was reported that in order to meet the demand of the high-end market, especially the rapid growth of the power battery and energy storage battery market, Jiaozuo City Hexing Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. invested 4.5 billion yuan in the new factory area covering an area of 9.67 hectares. Related projects such as the annual output of 30,000 tons of high-performance acetylene carbon black and comprehensive utilization of tail gas have been built. At present, the company's eight newly built acetylene carbon black production lines are about to enter the co-production debugging stage. Once the trial production is successful, the company's total acetylene carbon black production capacity will reach 50,000 tons, making it the world's largest production base.

It is reported that the particulate conductive carbon black independently developed by Hexing Chemical has excellent performance in conducting, coloring and strengthening materials, and is widely used in lithium batteries, electronic components, conductive rubber products and cable shielding materials. The high-end products produced by the company relying on its own intellectual property rights carbon black modification technology not only replace imported products, but also occupy the overseas high-end market on a large scale. Currently, the company's acetylene carbon black accounts for 40% and 18% market shares in China and the global conductive carbon black market respectively.

In recent years, Hexing Chemical has been focusing on emerging application areas and constantly adjusting its market direction. From more than 95% of its products serving the low value-added dry battery industry in the past, it has upgraded to more than 80% of its products serving lithium-ion batteries and ultra-high-voltage cable shielding materials and other high-end and high-value-added products have achieved high-quality development of the company.
