Chaoyang Parkson Group: The chain of "extending forward and extending back" is driving waves in domestic and overseas markets

Chaoyang Parkson Group is working hard to extend the industrial chain and innovate technology, extending upwards to build projects with an annual output of 80,000 tons of titanium tetrachloride and 5000 tons of zirconium tetrachloride to solve the problem of "stuck neck" in raw material supply; extending downwards to build 10,000 tons of titanium billet casting projects, realizing deep processing of sponge titanium, bravely becoming a "pioneer" in deep-processed products in the titanium industry and a "trendsetter" in the titanium product market at home and abroad.
Chaoyang Parkson Group, located in Chaoyang County, is composed of three companies: Parkson Titanium Co., Ltd., Parkson Metal Co., Ltd. and Parkson Jinshan Titanium Co., Ltd. The group currently employs more than 800 people, including 154 full-time technicians, and has total assets of 600 million yuan, of which fixed assets are 395 million yuan. At present, it has formed a production capacity of 15,000 tons of titanium sponge, a melting and casting capacity of 7000 tons of titanium billet, and a production capacity of 80,000 tons of titanium tetrachloride. In normal years, without counting 80,000 tons of titanium tetrachloride, an annual output value of 1.2 billion yuan can be achieved and taxes paid more than 50 million yuan can be paid. In the past five years, the company's annual output has increased by 15% annually, and its profit has increased by 26% annually.
In 2020, Parkson Group's actual output of titanium sponge ranked first in the country, accounting for 15.3% of the country's total output, and the product excellent grade rate (level 0 and 0A) was 81.2%, ranking first in the country. The products are mainly used in the chemical, aerospace and aerospace fields, of which the civil field dominates, accounting for about 90%, and the aviation and aerospace fields account for about 10%.
At present, the group has one R & D center and one R & D center under construction. It has obtained more than 30 invention and utility model patents, and has its own machining and manufacturing plant of more than 10,000 square meters. Master the advanced process and technology of producing titanium sponge in the "I" type reactor, and you can carry out the research and development, design and manufacture of a complete set of titanium sponge production equipment. Among them,"A Double Large Cover Distillation Device for Producing Titanium Sponge by Magnesium Method" won a national patent.
As a leading enterprise in the titanium industry in Chaoyang County, Chaoyang Parkson Metal Co., Ltd.'s leading product is sponge titanium. In the first half of this year, the company achieved a total industrial output value of 250 million yuan above the scale, a year-on-year increase of 39%.
In order to improve the industrial chain and continuously expand market share, the company's 20,000 tons/year full-process sponge titanium and 2000 tons/year sponge zirconium projects are actively promoting. At present, the project's energy assessment report and energy consumption alternative plan have been prepared. Land leveling has been completed and energy consumption approval is under way.
Chaoyang Parkson Jinshan Titanium Industry Co., Ltd.'s 10,000-ton titanium billet casting project is under construction. The #1 EB furnace has successfully trial-produced the first billet weighing 12 tons on October 26, 2021, forming a 2000-ton casting capacity. The 2#furnace has been successfully tested and can produce China's largest slab with a width of 2250 mm, a thickness of 240 mm, a length of 10000 mm, and a single weight of 20 tons, adding an additional 5000 tons of melting and casting capacity.
