The company steadily promotes energy-saving renovation and waste heat utilization projects. On the basis of completing the first set of "Titanium Liquid MVR Evaporation and Concentration System" transformation and achieving obvious energy-saving benefits, Dongfang Titanium Industry continues to implement the second set of transformation and has now entered the commissioning stage. The project uses advanced MVR concentration process instead of the single-effect thin film evaporation process to realize secondary steam compression and reuse, reduce the consumption of titanium liquid concentration steam, and save more than 50,000 tons of steam per year, equivalent to more than 5000 tons of standard coal. The gas recycling and utilization project built in the titanium smelting production line recovers the gas generated by the titanium slag electric furnace smelting process and uses it to dry titanium concentrate. It effectively reduces carbon emissions while reducing the subsequent titanium dioxide production cost. The annual gas recovery amount reaches 32 million cubic meters.
At the same time, the company is actively deploying the clean energy field. Currently, it has built a 2000 cubic meters/year vanadium electrolyte production line, and plans to build a 60000 cubic meters/year vanadium electrolyte production line to help downstream companies take advantage of vanadium energy storage to build an integrated optical storage "green electricity" project to achieve efficient utilization of clean energy, build a new power system with renewable energy as the main body, and strive to promote green and low-carbon development.
