The tailing-based road base material demonstration production line implemented by the company was completed and put into operation, marking the success of the resource and harmless utilization of vanadium-titanium magnetite tailings.

 The project was implemented in April this year and has currently used 20,000 tons of tailings slag to carry out resource and harmless utilization such as road construction, slope protection building construction and ecological restoration as backfilling material.

 It is understood that "solid waste recycling" has been listed as a key R & D plan project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China during the 13th Five-Year Plan. Currently, dozens of mining companies in China have successfully carried out tailings resource and harmless utilization. Introduced by Sichuan Lantailin New Material Technology Co., Ltd., it is the first time to use vanadium-titanium magnetite tailings for resource disposal.

 The reporter learned from the Eastern District Economic and Information Technology Bureau that with the upgrading of mineral processing technology, the recovery rates of iron, vanadium, titanium and other elements in the Panzhihua vanadium-titanium magnetite ore have been greatly improved, but the storage and disposal of tailings has become a problem that needs to be solved urgently. "This project is of great significance for Panzhihua to break the bottleneck of tailings storage, expand and strengthen characteristic advantageous industries such as vanadium-titanium steel, and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system dominated by industry." The relevant person in charge of the Eastern District Economic and Information Technology Bureau said.

 It is understood that the company will make full use of Panzhihua's various solid waste resources in the next step, build high-performance cementitious material production projects, fully implement "waste making", consume tailings and other solid waste, and contribute to high-quality economic and social development. Contribute to quality development. It is estimated that after the project is fully completed, it will achieve an annual output of 300,000 tons of special cementitious materials and an annual consumption of 8 million tons of tailings, promoting the reduction and resource utilization of bulk solid waste, and empowering green development.
