Optimize the structure of the titanium industry Baoji High-tech Zone accelerates the construction of an intelligent titanium processing industry base

 Recently, it was seen at the construction site of Wanquan International Advanced Titanium and Titanium Alloy Materials Manufacturing Industrial Park project in Baoji High-tech Zone that the project's No. 1 factory has been completely completed, and workers are installing and debugging equipment nervously and orderly.

  It is understood that the project is invested and constructed by Shaanxi Wanhao Titanium Special Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and an area of 300 acres. It mainly builds an internationally leading titanium and titanium alloy ingot smelting production line. It is expected to be officially put into operation in October this year.

Li Zhanpeng, general manager of Shaanxi Wanhao Titanium Special Materials Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters: "We will build fully automatic production lines for electrode preparation, electrode welding, vacuum consumable melting, electron beam melting, etc. Now we have installed two 20-ton vacuum consumable furnace. This is currently the largest single vacuum consumable furnace in China."

  
Li Zhanpeng introduced that after the completion of the entire project, it will have an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons of titanium and titanium alloy ingots, greatly increasing Baoji's production capacity of titanium smelting and titanium ingots, and achieving an annual output value of 2.2 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 200 million yuan., solving the employment of more than 300 people.
  It is worth mentioning that bipv photovoltaic integrated roofs are laid on the upper ends of the two factories of the project, which can generate 13.12 million kilowatts per year. The waste heat generated on the production line will also be used for raw material drying, facility heating, etc., to maximize green cycle development.

   It is understood that Baoji's 100 billion-level titanium industry cluster is not only one of the key development pillar industries in the province, but also included in the national strategic emerging industrial cluster development project. The cluster is dominated by Baoji High-tech Zone and gathers 324 small and medium-sized enterprises in titanium and titanium alloy new materials, including 33 specialized and new enterprises and 10 "little giant" enterprises. It has formed a complete industrial chain integrating titanium smelting, forging, rolling and deep processing.
