On July 3, the Myanmar Rubber Planters and Producers Association stated that Myanmar plans to export about 300,000 tons of natural rubber in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
In the previous fiscal year 2022-2023, Myanmar's total natural rubber output reached 360,000 tons, of which more than 200,000 tons were exported. It is understood that Myanmar's Dindayi Province and Mon State are the areas with the most extensive natural rubber planting areas in the country, while Pago Province and Kayin State are also involved in rubber planting.
At present, Myanmar's natural rubber planting area nationwide has exceeded 1.6 million acres, and exports 190,000 tons of natural rubber to China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and South Korea every year.
