If a new storage yard is not opened in time, it will cause Jiaozuo Park's 250,000 tons of sulfuric acid process production capacity and the upstream and downstream of the park's industrial chain, including the 100 billion-level new energy battery materials industrial cluster, to be suspended, and more than 5,000 industrial workers will be forced to lose their jobs.

Looking for new opportunities in the face of difficulties, Longbai Group took the initiative and responded to the situation. It is planned to select the barren mountains and valleys in the old village of Hekou that have suffered ecological damage as the backup storage yard. Since the demolition work of Hekou Village was launched in the third quarter of 2020, about 1345 acres of land have been vacated, of which 700 acres have become wasteland without cultivation.

According to the spirit of the notice jointly issued by the Department of Natural Resources of Henan Province and other nine departments in April 2023 on issuing an implementation plan to support social capital's participation in ecological protection and repair, the company plans to participate in the Hekou Village ecological protection and restoration project to comprehensively solve problems such as land resource destruction and inefficient utilization, petitions from relocated residents, and stockpiling of corporate by-products, improve the quality of available land and promote rural revitalization.
