Carbon black production:In September 2024, China's carbon black output was 492,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.60% and a month-on-month decrease of 2.30%; the cumulative carbon black output from January to September 2024 was 4.349 million tons, an increase of 44.69% compared with the same period last year, and the output increased by approximately 1.3433 million tons.

Carbon black operating rate:In September, the operating rate of the carbon black market was 65.50%, a decrease of 0.83% from August. This month, most enterprises in Shandong and Shanxi had maintenance plans, and the operating rate of carbon black enterprises fluctuated slightly.
