Carbon black production:In August 2024, China's carbon black output was 504,200 tons, an increase of 11.40% year-on-year and a month-on-month increase of 5.48%; the cumulative carbon black output from January to August 2024 was 3.8564 million tons, an increase of 28.30% compared with the same period last year, and the output increased by approximately 850,700 tons.

Carbon black operating rate:In August, the operating rate of the carbon black market was 66.05%, up 0.99% from July. This month, most companies that had been suspended for early maintenance successfully resumed production, pushing the operating rate of carbon black companies to increase.
