Carbon black output and operating rate in July 2024

Carbon black production:In July 2024, China's carbon black output was 478,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.22% and a month-on-month increase of 3.69%; the cumulative carbon black output from January to July 2024 was 3.3522 million tons, an increase of 11.53% compared with the same period last year, and the output increased by approximately 346,500 tons.

Carbon black operating rate:In July, the operating rate of the carbon black market was 65.4%, up 4.39% month-on-month in June. This month, some enterprises that stopped production and maintenance in the early stage resumed construction, and a few enterprises that planned maintenance were suspended. The operating rate of carbon black enterprises this month was increased compared with the previous month.
