Carbon black output: In April 2024, China's carbon black output was 461,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%, and a month-on-month decrease of 2.95%; the cumulative carbon black output from January to April 2024 was 1.9263 million tons, an increase of 13.58% compared with the same period last year, and the output increased by approximately 230,300 tons.

Carbon black operating rate: In April, the carbon black market operating rate was 63.21%, a decrease of 3.01% from March. The overall downstream demand performance this month was weak. Some carbon black companies have made burden reduction arrangements to alleviate production pressure, dragging down carbon black companies. The operating rate fell within a narrow range.
