On May 28, the market price of glacial acetic acid in China continued to decline. Today, the market price in East China was lowered. The price of acetic acid in Jiangsu was reported to be 3,000 - 3,100 yuan/ton, and the price in Zhejiang was around 3,100 - 3,200 yuan/ton. The price in the region fluctuated little, and the trading atmosphere was general. Market prices in Shandong are operating in a weak position, factory prices have been lowered, and market prices have fallen. Market prices in South China have been lowered, traders have moderate shipment sentiment, and market transactions are light. On the whole, it is expected that the market price of acetic acid will continue to be weak in the short term, but attention needs to be paid to the follow-up of downstream demand.

On May 28, the price of ethyl acetate in China was weakened. Today, prices in North China are temporarily stable. Major factories in Shandong are bidding for sales, the starting price is stable, and the transaction volume has increased slightly. Market prices in East China have temporarily stabilized, the purchasing atmosphere is general, inquiries are mainly needed, and downstream consumption is flat. Market prices in South China are temporarily stable, with holders actively shipping, and buying enthusiasm is not optimistic.
