Gasoline price index

On December 20, China's gasoline price index fell by 37.23%, or 0.43%, to 8658.88, while China's gasoline price index fell by 52.02, or 0.58%, to 8977.46. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index were both downgraded, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 318.59.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale price of gasoline fluctuates up and down in most parts of China, and only the high price of gasoline in South China and Northwest China is reduced by 160-300 yuan per ton. The price of gasoline in Shandong, East China and North China has been raised by 20-60 yuan per ton, while the price in other regions has been stable. The quotations of individual refineries in Northeast China have been reduced narrowly. At present, the turnover of China's gasoline market has picked up, the retail price limit has been reduced, and some refineries have lowered their quotations, but most refineries are firm in their willingness to raise prices. In the middle and lower reaches, while eliminating the stock, the rigid demand for replenishment, the bearish mentality has eased.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, the development of the Red Sea situation has led to a change in the transport route of oil, more detour transportation has increased transport costs, and international oil prices have risen; but at present, it will not be a crisis to crude oil production. EIA inventory data will soon be released or bring new guidelines. From the perspective of the Chinese market, the retail price limit is realized, only part of the main business follows the decline, most of the tasks are completed well at the end of the year, the price-raising mentality is not reduced, and the new round of price limit increases start to good news guidance. In addition, the cooling brought about by the car air conditioning support is better, as well as the New Year's Day holiday is approaching, the market positive news has appeared. Taken together, it is expected that China's gasoline market may have room to rise in the short term.

 

 

Maximum retail price list of gasoline and diesel in provinces, autonomous regions, cities and central cities

Since 24:00 on December 19, 2023, the prices of gasoline and diesel in China have been reduced by RMB415,400 per ton respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and central cities are shown in the attached table.

Note: 1. The prices in the table include consumption tax, value-added tax, urban construction tax and additional education fees.

2. The prices of gasoline and diesel oil in the table are in line with the compulsory national standards of VIB and Ⅵ in the sixth stage.

3. The sixth stage standard of gasoline and diesel is gasoline and No. 0 vehicle diesel respectively.

4. The prices of gasoline and diesel oil that meet the quality standards of the sixth stage for the national reserve and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps are 8630 yuan and 7605 yuan per ton respectively, and other relevant oil price policies shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the measures for Oil Price Management.
