Gasoline price index

On October 16, China's gasoline price index fell 2.88, or 0.03%, to 9260.97, while China's gasoline price index fell 2.40, or 0.03%, to 9590.80. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index were both downgraded, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 329.83.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale prices of gasoline in China fluctuate in a narrow range, with gasoline prices in South and Northeast China and North China reduced by 10-50 yuan per ton, while those in East and Southwest China increased by 30-50 yuan per ton. Gasoline prices in other regions have remained relatively stable for the time being. The ex-factory price of Geolian is higher and lower than last Friday, and the adjustment is concentrated in 20-60 yuan / ton, but today's price is mostly reduced. At present, trading in China's gasoline market is mediocre, international oil prices rose higher last Friday, but demand in the middle and lower reaches was limited, rigid demand replenishment operations were not high, local refineries raised prices over the weekend but shipments fell short of expectations, and there were many pullbacks in areas with poor sales today.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, with the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with high market attention, Israel began to attack the Gaza Strip, and the market was worried about further tension or increased supply risks, but currently affected the actual supply of crude oil. The Chinese market gradually entered the middle and last ten days of the month, and in the first ten days, refinery shipments in various regions were poor, and the sales pressure of each unit increased in the last ten days, and the superimposed market demand did not obviously improve to support the oil price. Taken together, China's gasoline market is expected to decline slightly in the short term.

Since 24:00 on October 10, 2023, the prices of gasoline and diesel in China have been reduced by 85 yuan and 80 yuan per ton respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and central cities are shown in the attached table. The next price adjustment is expected to be October 24.
