Carbon black output: In September 2023, China's carbon black output was 475,500 tons, an increase of 19.35% year-on-year and a month-on-month increase of 5.1%; the cumulative carbon black output from January to September 2023 was 3.9338 million tons, an increase of 5.9% compared with the same period last year, and the output increased by approximately 220,200 tons.

Carbon black operating rate: In September, the carbon black market operating rate was 65.89%, a month-on-month increase of 5.1%. Downstream tire companies remained at a high level this month, and due to the market atmosphere of buying up but not buying down, the demand side was more motivated to get goods. In order to deliver orders, the overall start of carbon black companies remained high.
