Gasoline price index

On September 20th, China's gasoline price index rose 14.80, or 0.16%, to 9510.06, while China's gasoline price index rose 14.19, or 0.14%, to 9829.81. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index both rose, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 319.75.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, wholesale gasoline prices in China rose slightly in all regions, with gasoline prices in South China, Central China, East China, Southwest China and Northeast China increased by 20-80 yuan per ton. Gasoline prices in North China and Northwest China are the same as yesterday. The ex-factory price of georefining has been raised by a narrow range, of which gasoline prices in Shandong, North China, Central China and East China have increased by 20-50 yuan per ton, and gasoline prices in the northwest and northeast regions have temporarily stabilized. At present, the turnover in China's gasoline market is mediocre, and there is still a superimposed price limit before the double Festival. Some traders choose the opportunity to enter the market, but some of the resources in the middle and lower reaches go to the warehouse; the main external mining costs are high, and refineries flexibly adjust their quotations.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, the current international oil price has risen to a relatively high level, in which investors' profits have taken back the fall in international oil prices after Brent crude oil broke through $95 a barrel. The US Energy Information Administration will release crude oil, refined oil import and export data, and may bring new news guidelines. In the Chinese market, the cost of external mining of the main unit is high, and there is still insufficient room for the market to support a wide range of falling prices. The double holidays are getting closer and closer, and the next few days are the final stage of pre-holiday hoarding. However, the relatively high price downstream does not reduce the cautious attitude, curbing market gains. Taken together, China's gasoline market is expected to fluctuate within a narrow range in the short term.

Since the price adjustment of oil products in China on August 23, 2023, oil prices in the international market have fluctuated. According to the current price mechanism of oil products in China, the average price in the first 10 working days on September 6 is less than 50 yuan per ton compared with the average price in the first 10 working days on August 23. The price of gasoline and diesel will not be adjusted this time, and the unadjusted amount will be added or offset in the next price adjustment. The following table shows the results of the price adjustment by the National Development and Reform Commission on August 23, 2023, and the next price adjustment is expected to be September 20.
