Gasoline price index

On September 15, China's gasoline price index rose 32.29, or 0.34%, to 9434.03, while China's gasoline price index rose 30.15, or 0.31%, to 9758.66. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index both rose, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 324.63.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale price of gasoline in China has risen as a whole, with a range of 20-70 yuan per ton. The ex-factory price of georefining has increased slightly, with gasoline prices in Shandong, North China, Central China, East China and Northwest China increased by 20-50 yuan per ton. Gasoline prices in Northeast China are stable for the time being. At present, the transaction in China's gasoline market is OK, the overnight crude oil has once again broken through the new high, the enthusiasm of the operators to enter the market has increased, but the replenishment of rigid demand is not as expected, the refinery is slightly burdened in the middle of the high price stack, and the market rise is limited.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, Brent crude oil and WTI crude oil have broken through 90 US dollars per barrel one after another, and the market is optimistic about global supply and demand. And from the current point of view, US retail sales in August are higher than expected, and it is more likely that the Fed will not raise interest rates at its meeting in September. Recently, the leading role of international crude oil has become more and more prominent, the price trend of gasoline-related raw materials in the Chinese market is strong and straight, coupled with double favorable support. Taken together, China's gasoline market is expected to rise slightly in the short term.

Since the price adjustment of oil products in China on August 23, 2023, oil prices in the international market have fluctuated. According to the current price mechanism of oil products in China, the average price in the first 10 working days on September 6 is less than 50 yuan per ton compared with the average price in the first 10 working days on August 23. The price of gasoline and diesel will not be adjusted this time, and the unadjusted amount will be added or offset in the next price adjustment. The following table shows the results of the price adjustment by the National Development and Reform Commission on August 23, 2023, and the next price adjustment is expected to be September 20.
