Gasoline price index

On August 22nd, China's gasoline price index fell 7.09, or 0.08%, to 9256.52, while China's gasoline price index fell 6.59, or 0.07%, to 9577.69. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index were both downgraded, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 321.17.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale price of gasoline in most areas in China has been lowered in the regional price range but has not broken through the end value, and prices in some regions remain relatively stable. The ex-factory price of georefining has been reduced in a narrow range, of which the price of gasoline in Shandong and North China has been reduced by 20-50 yuan per ton. Refineries in other areas remain unchanged for the time being. At present, the turnover of China's gasoline market is still relatively moderate, the international oil price is falling, the steady change of gasoline demand in China's market is relatively small, and the rigid demand of traders is mainly purchasing. The volume of refinery shipments is light, and poor sales areas flexibly adjust quotations to stimulate shipments.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, the tightening of the supply side has formed a certain support for international oil prices, but there is still uncertainty about the Fed's interest rate hike in September, superimposed by the global economic recession, and the oil market atmosphere has weakened. At present, the wait-and-see mood in the Chinese market is increasing, the operators are cautious in entering the market, the rigid demand support is relatively stable and floating is relatively small, and the guiding role is general. Approaching the adjustment date of the refined oil price limit, the upward adjustment is expected to narrow. On the whole, it is expected that China's gasoline prices will be mainly stable and fluctuate slightly in the short term.

 

 

Maximum retail price list of gasoline and diesel in provinces, autonomous regions, cities and central cities

Since 24:00 on August 9, 2023, the prices of gasoline and diesel in China (standard products, the same below) will be increased by RMB240,230 per ton respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and central cities are shown in the attached table. The date of the price adjustment will be 24:00 on August 9, 2023, the ninth working day in China since the price adjustment was announced by the National Development and Reform Commission.
