Gasoline price index

On May 29th, China's gasoline price index fell 13.75, or 0.16%, to 8740.42, while China's gasoline price index fell 7.19, or 0.08%, to 9041.55. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index were both downgraded, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 301.13.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale price of gasoline in China is mainly arranged in a narrow range, of which the prices of gasoline in South China and South China have been reduced by 50 yuan per ton, while the high-end price of gasoline in the southwest has been raised by 50 yuan per ton. Gasoline prices in other areas are arranged within a narrow range of prices. The ex-factory prices of geo-refinery are rising and falling, among which the price increases of gasoline in North China are concentrated at 50 yuan per ton. The price of gasoline in East China and Northwest China has been reduced by 20-100 yuan per ton, and most of them are concentrated at the low end. Gasoline prices in Shandong, Central China and Northeast China are stable for the time being. At present, the turnover of China's gasoline market is weak, mainly downstream, rigid demand procurement, demand side support is general. The monthly task performance of the refinery is different, and the exit policy is flexible. On the whole, the buying and selling atmosphere is mild and the market is weak.

Future forecast

From the perspective of international crude oil, the market is optimistic about the US debt ceiling negotiations, coupled with the upcoming summer travel peak in the United States, international crude oil prices have risen. From the macro policy point of view, the refined oil window will open at 24:00 tomorrow, the price limit increase is expected to be clear, and the news side is a positive guide. However, from the demand point of view, there is no good support, and the refinery shipping speed is slow, the transaction is limited. On the whole, the price of Chinese gasoline market is expected to fluctuate in a narrow range in the short term.

 

Maximum retail price list of gasoline and diesel in provinces, autonomous regions, cities and central cities

Since 24:00 on May 16, 2023, the prices of gasoline and diesel in China (the same below) will be reduced by RMB380,365 per ton respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and central cities are shown in the attached table. The date of the price adjustment will be 24:00 on May 16, 2023, the eighth working day in China since the price adjustment was announced by the National Development and Reform Commission.
