Gasoline price index

On May 23, China's gasoline price index rose 5.73, or 0.07%, to 8703.82, while China's gasoline price index rose 4.07, or 0.05%, to 8996.60. The 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index both rose, and the price difference between the 9-month gasoline index and the 9-month gasoline index was 292.78.

 

Gasoline market analysis:

Today, the wholesale price of gasoline in China is mainly arranged in a narrow range, of which the prices of gasoline in the northwest region have been raised by 50 yuan per ton. The high-end price of gasoline in North China has risen, while the low-end price has fallen, but the adjustment is mostly concentrated at 30 yuan per ton. Gasoline prices in South China, Central China, East China, Southwest China and Northeast China are temporarily stable. The ex-factory prices of georefining have been raised in some areas, including those in North China, Central China, East China and Northwest China, with a range of 20-60 yuan per ton, while those in the northeast of Shandong Province are sorted out within the price range. At present, the turnover of China's gasoline market is heating up, gasoline prices will reach a certain low, downstream replenishment efforts have increased, refinery shipments have improved compared with the previous period, and the actual single transaction is OK. On the whole, the buying and selling atmosphere in the gasoline market rebounded.

Future forecast

According to the data of the Automobile Association, the market share of new energy gasoline increased in April, from 26.1% in March to 29.55% in April, and the pressure on the traditional gasoline market increased. However, from the perspective of international crude oil, the increase in crude oil demand is expected to heat up, coupled with the implementation of the OPEC+ production reduction plan, international crude oil prices rise, international crude oil support is better. From the supply side, due to the continuous fermentation of isooctane and industrial white oil tax news, some gasoline component manufacturers in China have stopped work, the news is good, and operators have increased their operations in the market. On the whole, it is expected that the price of Chinese gasoline market will be stable in the short term.

 

Maximum retail price list of gasoline and diesel in provinces, autonomous regions, cities and central cities

Since 24:00 on May 16, 2023, the prices of gasoline and diesel in China (the same below) will be reduced by RMB380,365 per ton respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and central cities are shown in the attached table. The date of the price adjustment will be 24:00 on May 16, 2023, which is the fifth working day in China since the price adjustment was announced by the National Development and Reform Commission.
