Glass Import and Export Analysis (March 2024)
Glass import and export analysis: According to customs data, glass imports in March 2024 were 22,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35%, and a month-on-month decrease of 22%. From January to March 2024, the cumulative import volume was 69,900 tons, a year-on-year increase of 24,300 tons, or 53.31%.
In terms of countries, the top three regions for glass imports in March were: South Korea with 5,000 tons, Malaysia with 4,500 tons, and Thailand with 3,400 tons, accounting for 24%, 22%, and 16% respectively.
According to customs data, glass exports in March 2024 were 38,100 tons, down 48% year-on-year and a month-on-month increase of 68%. From January to March 2024, the cumulative export volume was 69,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 89,500 tons, with a range of-47.60%.
In terms of countries, the top three glass exports in March were South Korea with 3,700 tons, Canada with 2,500 tons, and Vietnam with 2,300 tons, accounting for 25%, 16%, and 15% respectively.
