Recently, the Shanxi Province Department of Ecology and Environment announced that it plans to approve the environmental assessment report of Shanxi Longxing Carbon-Based New Materials Circular Economy Industry Project. Shanxi Longxing New Materials Technology Development Co., Ltd. released the environmental impact report of this project on the website of Lucheng District People's Government of Changzhi City in March this year.
The reporter learned from this environmental impact report that the project mainly builds 6 carbon black production lines, 2 110t/h carbon black tail gas boilers, 2 35MW condensing steam turbines, raw material tank farms, and public, auxiliary and environmental protection facilities; The total investment of the project is 3.1 billion yuan and the total area is about 304,000 square meters.
The project is constructed in two phases, each of which will build two production lines with an annual output of 60,000 tons and one production line with an annual output of 80,000 tons. The designed production capacity of carbon black varieties for these two phases of the project is as follows: 1) The carbon black production capacity for rubber is 320,000 tons, and the first phase and second phases are 160,000 tons each;2) 20,000 tons of conductive carbon black, and the first phase and second phases are 10,000 tons each;3) 10,000 tons of carbon black for electrode materials, the first phase of the project;4) 20,000 tons of pigment carbon black, 10,000 tons each for the first and second phases;5) 30,000 tons of carbon black for silicon 69, 10,000 tons for the first phase and 20,000 tons for the second phase.
It is understood that Shanxi Longxing New Material Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Longxing Chemical Co., Ltd., located in Lucheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. It is mainly engaged in research and development, manufacturing and efficient energy utilization of new material technologies. The project relies on by-products of the coking industry in Lucheng Economic Development Zone as raw materials, and carbon black tail gas is burned in boilers for power generation or external steam supply, realizing a green cycle model of resource integration and energy complementarity, and forming a complete upstream and downstream industrial chain.
