Concentrated nitric acid is extremely oxidizing and can destroy the structure of LLDPE molecular chains, resulting in material performance degradation, cracking, embrittlement and other phenomena; halogenated hydrocarbons will swell with LLDPE, resulting in material volume expansion and reduced mechanical properties.

In the laboratory, if chloroform is accidentally dropped on LLDPE experimental equipment, the surface of the equipment will become sticky and deformed in a short time.
