BA-series gravure ink for OPP laminated film is an ester soluble ink made of chlorinated polypropylene as the main resin, applicable to gravure printing and lamination of light packaging material with BOPP as its printing substrate.
I. Scope of Application
1. Suitable for reverse printing on BOPP film with surface tension ≥38dyn.
2. Suitable for the process of dry lamination, PE-extrusion lamination and solvent-free lamination, while not suitable for PP-extrusion lamination process.
3. Suitable for light packaging products, while not suitable for retort packaging.
Ⅱ. Application Characteristics
1. Ester solvent performs as the main solvent of BA-series ink, as well as the major dilution solvent in the printing process.
2. Excellent printability, suitable for all kinds of gravure printing from low speed to high speed.
3. The printing residual solvents are very low, in line with environmental protection, safety, non-toxic and hygienic requirements.

Ⅵ. Notice
1. In practical application, the performance of ink would be affected by the environmental temperature and humidity, printing facility and process, as well as plate making parameters, etc. Please adjust the dilution solvent according to the actual situation.
2. Please shake the ink sufficiently before opening the barrel to ensure that each component of the ink is even after pouring.
3. In the practical application, if an appropriate amount of methyl cyclohexane solvent (20% of the diluted solvent) is added during printing, the long-term printability will be better.
4. BA-Series ink is not suitable for retort packaging and not recommended for boiling packaging. Please consult our technical department if you have above requirements.
5. In the practical application, please pay attention to the purity of the solvent used, especially exclusive of any alcohol solvent or water, otherwise it may cause issues such as ink thickening, printing filling-in, color variation, etc.
6. It’s better to use the ink as soon as possible after opening the barrel and within its shelf life. If the used ink is reused, please add only a small amount into the fresh ink.
7. Please store the product in a cool and ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
