The nation's first bonded LNG tank container international transit business has been launched in Yangpu, Hainan.

Recently, the first bonded LNG tank container international transshipment business in the country was launched in Yangpu, Hainan. Twenty bonded LNG (liquefied natural gas) tank containers were loaded onto a ship at the Yangpu International Container Terminal in Hainan and shipped to Vietnam. This business effectively enriches the high-end energy logistics sector of Yangpu Port and expands the cross-border LNG trade channel of the Hainan Free Trade Port. During the loading operations, the Yangpu Maritime Safety Administration conducted on-site supervision throughout the process. Considering the high-risk characteristics of LNG, they scientifically determined the placement positions and safety distances of the tank containers based on ship conditions and cargo risks, strictly enforcing stowage isolation regulations. At the same time, they inspected the ship's load-carrying conditions, fire ventilation, securing equipment, and other key facilities to comprehensively eliminate potential safety hazards on the ship.
