The hotline repeatedly coordinated, and the money was recovered.
"I didn't expect to be contacted by staff immediately, who repeatedly coordinated for my issue. Thank you so much!" Recently, Master Gao, a truck driver from Henan, finally received over 10,000 yuan in freight charges that had been withheld for nearly half a month by a certain freight platform. He was very emotional during the follow-up call from 12328.
This was all thanks to the quick intervention and efficient mediation of the 12328 Transportation Service Supervision Hotline in Bengbu City, Anhui Province.
Some time ago, Master Gao accepted a freight order through a certain freight platform to transport goods from a company in Luoyang to Guangdong across provinces. The goods were delivered intact and on time, and the driver completed the online fee verification as required by the platform. However, the platform withheld the freight charges, citing "unclear vehicle transport trajectory" as the reason, and delayed settlement. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to communicate, Master Gao called the 12328 hotline for help.
After receiving the request for help, the 12328 hotline staff responded quickly and conducted an investigation into the platform. By verifying all the documents, including the waybill information, transport trajectory, goods receipt proof, and online payment records, they discovered that the issue stemmed from an error in the platform's trajectory verification system. With the hotline's coordination, the platform corrected the error internally and fully disbursed the freight charges.
With the rapid development of the online freight industry, disputes over freight settlement and platform verification have gradually become frequent concerns raised by truck drivers. In response, the Bengbu City Transportation Bureau has positioned the hotline as a "direct channel" for public demands and a "barometer" of service efficiency. They continue to optimize the closed-loop mechanism of "precise dispatching, efficient handling, and full-process supervision" to improve the efficiency of handling truck drivers' requests. Additionally, they conduct follow-ups on all resolved cases and have intensified routine supervision of online freight platforms within their jurisdiction to comprehensively regulate platform operations, trajectory verification, freight settlement, and other processes.
Since the beginning of this year, the Bengbu City 12328 Transportation Service Supervision Hotline has resolved 175 cases related to freight charge disputes and other rights protection issues for truck drivers. The response rate, resolution rate, and satisfaction rate have all remained at 100% for four consecutive months.
