Royal Caribbean extends the Singapore season of "Voyager of the Seas" until October 2027.
Recently, Royal Caribbean Cruises (referred to as Royal Caribbean) announced that the Singapore season of "Voyager of the Seas" will be extended until October 2027. The originally planned seasonal deployment starting in October 2026 has now been officially upgraded to year-round homeport operations in Singapore, providing Chinese and Asian guests with more flexible and diverse vacation options at sea. Guests can embark on short Southeast Asian cruises or in-depth exploration journeys from Singapore with ease. This extension of the season further demonstrates Royal Caribbean's long-term commitment to deepening its presence in the Asian market and expanding its regional vacation offerings. Starting today, related itineraries are fully open for booking in the Chinese market.

Starting in October, "Voyager of the Seas" will offer year-round itineraries, including short cruises of 2 to 5 nights, taking guests to popular Southeast Asian destinations such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. Additionally, a 12-night long cruise from Tokyo, Japan, to Singapore will provide an immersive vacation experience for guests seeking in-depth exploration. With the extension of the Singapore season, "Voyager of the Seas" will also visit vacation hotspots such as Penang and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) in Malaysia, as well as Phuket in Thailand.
Benjamin Bo, President of Royal Caribbean Cruises Greater China and Managing Director of Asia, stated: "With the year-round deployment of 'Voyager of the Seas,' we are delighted that more guests will have the opportunity to embark on exciting sea vacations from Singapore. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a family in-depth tour, guests can enjoy a variety of journeys year-round from this Asian cruise hub. 'Voyager of the Seas' combines thrilling attractions, world-class entertainment, and dining experiences. Together with the cutting-edge 'Spectrum of the Seas,' they complement each other in offering unique vacation options at sea for Chinese and Asian guests."
Thanks to its convenient air connectivity with major cities in Asia and around the world, Singapore has become one of the region's leading fly-cruise hubs, providing an ideal starting point for guests to embark on Southeast Asian exploration journeys aboard Royal Caribbean cruises.
Chitra Rajesh Kumar, Director of Cruises at the Singapore Tourism Board, stated: "Royal Caribbean's decision to extend the deployment of 'Voyager of the Seas' from a six-month seasonal schedule to year-round homeport operations fully reflects its confidence in Singapore as Asia's leading cruise hub. This extension not only highlights the long-standing and strong partnership between Singapore and Royal Caribbean but also offers tourists more opportunities to experience Singapore's vibrant cityscape and the diverse cultural charm of Southeast Asia in a single cruise journey."
"Voyager of the Seas" has been meticulously designed to offer a diverse range of experiences at sea—from thrilling adventures to relaxing leisure, catering to the vacation needs of different groups. Families with children can enjoy the "Splashaway Bay" water park; adventure enthusiasts can challenge themselves on the longest waterslide at sea, "The Blaster," the plunge-style "Typhoon" waterslide, or test their teamwork in "Royal Escape Room: The Observatory" and "Laser Tag." Guests looking to unwind can savor tropical cocktails at the "Lime and Coconut" bar on the Caribbean-themed pool deck, enjoy original productions at the "Royal Theater," or marvel at spectacular ice-skating performances at the "Studio B" ice rink. The culinary journey is equally exciting, with guests able to indulge in fresh seafood at "Hooked Seafood," savor Mexican flavors at "El Loco Fresh," or relax at the "Bamboo Room," a specialty tiki-themed bar offering expertly crafted cocktails.

From the extension of "Voyager of the Seas" Singapore season to the comprehensive expansion of itineraries in the Chinese and Asian markets, Royal Caribbean continues to strengthen its deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. In the Chinese market, the "Spectrum of the Seas" will continue its year-round operations from Shanghai and Hong Kong as homeports during the 2027–2028 season. With this dual homeport strategy, guests from the Yangtze River Delta, the Greater Bay Area, and across the country can easily embark on sea vacations from their "doorstep," while international guests can start their journeys from China to explore Asia's vibrant destinations aboard the "Spectrum of the Seas."
During the 2027–2028 season, "Spectrum of the Seas" will offer 56 curated itineraries, including over 40 departing from Shanghai and 14 from Hong Kong. The year-round routes will cover 22 popular destinations, creating a diverse lineup of itineraries in Asia. From bustling cities to hidden island paradises, from the autumn wonders of Sapporo, the volcanic island and lava caves of Jeju, to the World Heritage treasures of Hue, as well as trendy hotspots like Seoul and Busan, the itineraries range from 3 to 11 nights, inviting guests to embark on an immersive journey and experience the diverse charms of the region.
A brand-new "open-jaw itinerary" will also make its debut. Tokyo (Yokohama) will, for the first time, serve as both an arrival and departure port, breaking the boundaries of traditional round-trip routes. This flexible "multi-destination" approach connects various destinations, unlocking new possibilities for guests to explore Asia.
With Benjamin Bo officially taking on the role of President of Greater China and Managing Director of Asia, overseeing all Asian operations, Royal Caribbean is deepening its presence in the Asia-Pacific market and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Chinese and Asian markets. The company continues to enrich its range of Asian vacation products for the Chinese market, providing travel agency partners with more high-quality options and seizing new opportunities in the Asia-Pacific tourism market together.
Starting today, Royal Caribbean's "Voyager of the Seas" and "Spectrum of the Seas" itineraries for the 2027–2028 season are fully open for booking in the Chinese market. Guests can consult and book in advance through the Royal Caribbean official website, official WeChat mini-program, Fliggy flagship store, Douyin flagship store, Royal Caribbean's official partner travel agencies, and the customer service hotline at 400-885-0277.
